City Orchestra

Started out as Masan Indoor Orchestra in 1975, the Masan City Orchestra was established in 1984 and had performed some 90 regular concerts including a night of concerto for young children and for the citizens as well as many tour concerts and participated in a symphony orchestra festival, invitation concert, a charity concert, a youth concert.
It also held about 320 opera performances like "La Traviata", "Carmen", "Tosca", "Cavalleria Rusticana" and "Laboheme".
The orchestra demonstrated a great performance to audiences in a national symphony orchestra competition held in 1996, receiving an honorable group award.

City choir

The city choir of Masan was established in 1988 and has been holding regular concerts every year including night concertos for children.
In addition, the city choir demonstrated many great performances for working youth, congratulatory concert for joining UN, outdoor concerts, Masan art festival and chorus for youth.
It is providing beautiful combination of musical notes to the citizens and also advancing into a performing group that could perform diverse programs like famous classical songs and folk songs for the region thanks to Kim Dong-soon conductor and 42 staff members.
