Cheonju Mountain
Cheonju Mountain stands on the left of East Masan I.C at Namhe Expressway and is the guardian mountain of Changwon.
It has Jakdaesan Station and Sangong in the middle and is linked to the north hill, and the main hill flows to north and south to let its tail head for Masan.
From the ancient times when drought occurs, it is regarded that one of the residents performed secret burial to have the neighbors throng to seek for the spot.
This is a mountain suitable for climbing all year round, but it is a most popular attraction in the spring when it shimmers with both royal red azaleas and the colorful clothes of climbers. Likewise in the fall, when the mountain is dressed in autumn colors, it again presents a grand sight.
Mt. Cheonjusan sports a well-made hiking trail, which runs from Cheonjusa (temple) all the way to the Guam Sub-district of Masan. Climb the mountain from the temple, and after about 20 minutes, you'll happen upon the road from Dalcheon Valley.
From this point, it requires an additional hour to reach the top of the mountain.
The ridgeline at the top is flat enough for people to run on.
If you're lucky to witness the sunshine reflected from the waves of the Junam Reservoir, you'll probably agree that it looks very much like a silvery, widely spreading silk garment.
Beyond this, the Nakdong River can also be seen flowing sublimely in the distance.
The climb is constantly refreshing to the spirit because stone-slope and some mineral springs are constantly in view in the distance and from the top the cities of Masan and Changwon, as well as Haman-gun, can easily be seen.
In particular, there is a spot full
