Palyongsan Mountain

The mountain separates two city districts with its ridges along the boundary of Changwon and Masan. A small mountain is formed on its own to have the geographical feature suitable for park region.
This mountain is called Banryong Mountain and resembles 8 dragons wriggling with the reservoir in the center, which also gives the name of Palyong Mountain.

How to reach the peak

The climbing path is concentrated in Masan region.
There are various paths since the mountain is loved by the residents, but the path appropriate for one-day mountain climbing is the one from Guam-dong Gyeongnam General Social Welfare Center where the ridge passes Jungbong, Amreung, then to the peak.
It takes about h hour and 20 minutes.
Also, there is another course passing by the physical training part Besides the course, there are others to climb up from the rear of Changshin University at Bongdeok-dong, the course that goes through the side foot of the mountain next to east Masan police station, and the climbing path across from Palyong Elementary School to Jubong.
There is another path to the summit through the reservoir at Bongam-dong, but the course is steep
