Streets for the Young and Cultural Activities in Chang-dong. Streets around a junction in Chang-dong are full of cafes, bars and restaurants with different kinds of Korean food such as Gimbap (a kind of food) and Jokbal (a kind of food), are crowded with young people especially after sunset.
Neon signs on the streets light up early in the evening and keep the streets bright all night. Besides restaurants, galleries including Dong-seo Gallery, Chang-dong Gallery, Disenae Gallery, a photograph exhibition hall and a private library named Chaek-sa-rang are all in the same area.
The three largest bookstores in Masan; Munhwa Bookstore, Hakmundang and Hakwonsa are also there.
