Products
Rebar
Rebar is one of the core materials for construction, such as office, apartment and residential buildings. They are produced and shipped out by completely automated modern system from rolling to cutting and packaging. The value of production can reach D8-D58, 6-12 in length and yearly production reaches 2 million tons. Korea Iron and Steel produces not only rebar used in general construction, but also high tension reinforcing bars that are used in nuclear power plants. The company is building to perform its role as a cornerstone of national development.
SECTION STEEL
For its simple structural organization and high intensity, angle iron is used in the assembly of all types of general iron structures. It is in ever-increasing demand across the entire field of domestic industry.
FORGED STEEL
Equipped with large scale forged steel facilities, such as a 2,500 ton oil pressure press and so forth, Korea Iron and Steel produces large-sized forged steel products of fine quality in the range of 100,000 tons yearly. It is used as a partial material for shipbuilding, general industrial machinery, generator plants and so forth, and it is recognized for its excellent quality for product export along with the approval of various classification associations (GL, BV, DNV, KR, LR, NK).
STEEL PIPE
From the cutting of hot coil to the set, welding, and coating processing, the steel pipe that is produced by the straight pipe processing is being manufactured in variety of sizes up to 150,000 tons per year. From the steel plate for general pipe, to steel plate for structure, to the steel plate for special pipe, Korea Iron and Steel has produced an excellent performance not only for domestic use but also for industrial pipe workers. Further, thorough inspection, satisfactory products are produced and supplied.
ROUND BAR
Rounded bar is used not only for concrete supplementary functions in construction, but also in overall industry, like industrial machine parts. Korea Iron and Steel is equipped with the system that can produce and supply the proper products that are fitted to the needs of customers.
