Location

Masan City is located in the southern central of Gyeongsangnam-do Masan bay, southeast of the Korean Peninsula.
The west is the west-end of Jinjeon-myeon Bongam-ri that is 128 37' degree of the east longitude, and the east is the east-end of Bongam-dong, 27" of the east longitude.
The south is the south-end of Gusan-myeon Gubok-ri that is 35 03'N, and the north is Naeseo-eub Anseong-ri, 35 16'N.
There are domestic cities of Changwon, Busan, Jinju, and Gwangju, which have similar latitude as Masan, and foreign cities Tokyo, Kyoto in Japan, Jeong Shien and Lui Yang in China, Kabul in Afghanistan, Beirut in Lebanon, Tunis in Tunisia, Alger in Algeria, and Oklahoma City and Memphis in USA.
As for the longitude, Yokutsk in Siberia, Harbin in Manchuria, Nagasaki in Japan, and Withham in Australia.
The time, meanwhile, in Masan is 8 hours 37 minutes ahead of GMT, and about 24 hours later than Korean Standard Time (135 of east longitude as standard).
